JOURNEY has announced its latest wireless charging station is set for release.
GLYDE is a 4-in-1 portable charging station with a built-in 10,000 mAh power bank, offering a truly untethered charging experience for Apple device users.
The one-of-its-kind wireless power supply also features a world-first retractable charging lid (patent pending) that slides open to enable the simultaneous fast-charge of four devices.
Apple device owners can slide the lid closed when GLYDE is idle, or when its hideaway Apple Watch charger is idle.
When GLYDE’s retractable wireless charging lid slides open, it charges more mobile devices.

A JOURNEY spokesperson said GLYDE’s retractability makes it easy to carry and store on the move.
“Our designers wanted to create an extremely fast all-purpose wireless charger that eliminates the need to carry multiple chargers and power banks ,” said JOURNEY.
“But we didn’t want to compromise on portability.
“That’s essentially the story behind the retractable charging lid innovation.”
GLYDE is substantially smaller when the lid is closed, JOURNEY’s spokesperson added.
When GLYDE’s retractable charging lid is closed, the charger is one third smaller in length.

The unobtrusive portable power supply combines light and neutral colours, gentle edges, and a soothing matte texture to calm busy spaces and surfaces.
Consumers can plug GLYDE into wall power to concurrently charge its inbuilt 10,000 mAh power bank battery and their phone, AirPods, Apple Watch, and USB devices.
They can also unplug GLYDE from wall power (when the power bank battery is adequately charged) and use the device in power bank mode, untethered.
They can charge a fourth USB device by plugging into GLYDE’s USB-C port via charging cable too.
“GLYDE is actually a wireless charger in more ways than one,” JOURNEY’s spokesperson said.
“It can function as an in-the-wall wireless charger that wirelessly fast charges three devices.
“This is perfect for stationary wireless charging, but it’s more versatile than that.
“When its inbuilt power bank battery is charged up, people can unplug it from the wall, and wirelessly charge all their devices anywhere, no mains power needed.
GLYDE’s inbuilt 10,000 mAh power bank battery equips device users with fully portable charging power.
“Travelers, commuters, and mobile workers can use it as a power bank during the day, and, at night, they can plug it in to recharge all of their portable devices while they recharge the power bank.
“It reduces the number of devices and cables they need to carry, and it reduces the different types of electronics they need to carry.
“They needn’t protract the charging experience by charging their power bank separately.”
The Qi2-certified GLYDE delivers up to 15W to Qi2-enabled devices, including iPhones 12 and onwards, fast charging to Apple Watches and AirPods.
