Disabling Items in JOURNEY’s LOC8 Range is Easy

When any Android device user in the community receives a notification that a LOC8 item has been detected near them [within 20 metres indoors or 30 metres outdoors], they have the option to disable it from sharing its location.

The system notification enables Android users to sound the LOC8’s ringtone through its inbuilt speaker, so they can find the LOC8 by ear.

Once a LOC8 Universal tracker is in your physical possession, you can disable it by taking the following steps.

    1. Locate the tracker button (in the top of the right-hand side corner.
    2. Hold down the tracker button for three seconds (you will hear two beeps).
    3. After a subsequent ringtone sounds five times to signal the LOC8’s disablement, release the tracker button.
    4. You can repeat this step in “SETUP WITH FIND MY DEVICE” to pair the fob with your phone.
