After you pair your Apple or Android device with a LOC8 Finder tag or fob, finding them is easy. When the LOC8 is in Bluetooth range, hit ‘Play Sound’ in the Find My (Apple) or Find Hub app (Google) on your Apple or Android device.

This will make your LOC8 tracking item’s inbuilt speaker ring loudly, so you can find your LOC8 (and the keyring or other valuable its attached to). Outside of Bluetooth range, view your app’s map to see your LOC8’s location.

Can I track a LOC8 Finder tag or fob with my device?
Yes. JOURNEY’s new-generation LOC8 range features fobs and tags that are universally
compatible. This means they are designed to work with Apple’s Find My app (on your Apple devices) or Google’s Find Hub app (on your Android devices).

The range also includes fobs and tags that are exclusively compatible with Apple’s Find My. The LOC8 Tag Universal works with Find My (Apple) and Find Hub (Google).

What is the Bluetooth connection range of fobs and tags in the new LOC8 Finder range?
20 metres. Within this range, you can make your keys and other essentials ring. This prevents a lot of the stress that people otherwise experience when they can’t find misplaced valuables (that they frequently need urgently).

Why do the new LOC8s have USB-C charger ports?
The USB-C charger ports eliminate the need to replace cell batteries inside LOC8. It helps reduce waste, and eliminates the potential harms and hazards associated with cell batteries.

How do I know when my LOC8 is running out of battery?
Android and Apple device users receive a reminder notification on their phone. You can
also check the battery level in the relevant app.
